He said taking millions of 100-bolivar notes out of circulation has smashed the black market.

The withdrawl prompted protests and looting in several states as the supply of ready cash rapidly ran out.

On Saturday, President Maduro postponed the withdrawl until early January.

But there were still reports of rioting on Sunday as anxiety continued to run high.

Local reports said some businesses were still refusing to accept the 100-bolivar notes.....

Mr. Maduro said on state TV 300 alleged looters had been arrested.

Addressing opposition parties, he said, "Don't come and tell me they are political prisoners."

He accused the riot leaders of taking instructions from President Barack Obama, alleging they wanted to engineer a coup against Venezuela's left-wing government......

“Mad” Maduro has pretty much ‘fornicated’ his country beyond all recognition.

Real people, real suffering involving millions of people.

Right on top of Nicolae Ceaușescu body.

The evolving collapse in Venezuela yet again points out the necessity of the separation of money from the state. There are different ways to do this but I like the way that bitcoin does it.

“”The clock is ticking for Maduro. He will soon be dumped on the ash heap of history.””

Nope -just need to point to the castro brothers-

soooo many tried to kill those 2 evil men- and looks
like both will live to old age- maduro wants to be just like cuba- but because they have 3 times the population-
maybe they can’t get away with MURDERING 1 million+

Unfortunately Madero is too media-exposed to opt for the Stalin, Mao, Castro solution of making a few dozen million of the opposition simply disappear.
