Blackmail works only if you don’t want people to find out. So, make sure that the general knows that everyone has “found out”. Then, there is no point in blackmailing him. He’s immune.

The general was demoted to Lt. Colonel. Will put a big hit on his pension.

Imagine that, since a few years ago his Commander In Chief was celebrated by the press for his own indiscretions.

Major General down to Lieutenant Colonel? That’s a big deal, especially since he’ll never be promoted again.

Note that homos and trans life styles in the military were unaffected by this.

If he would have came out as a homosexual/transgender/queer/whatever he would have gotten a promotion for being so “Brave”

Does your pension depend on rank at retirement or highest rank attained? I thought it was the latter.

He should immediately come out as homosexual to get his rank back.

Someday there is going to be reckoning. Adultery per se is not proscribed. It is handled under Article 134 of the UCMJ conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline or bringing discredit upon the armed services or possibly Article 133 - conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman.

Now, why is homosexual promiscuity and philandering ok, but heterosexual promiscuity not? Because one behavior is in support of diversity and the other promotes sexual stereotypes or some garbage?

Who gives a rats a**?

If we had expelled every general who enjoyed bangining broads , we would never have won a war in history !

Highest rank attained unless they yank his 20 year letter and published orders in his demotion letter. If I recall correctly. You really have to screw up to get your 20 your letter, pension, or highest ranking trained benefits blasted.

His formerly $122k pension, now $79k with the demotion will end up about $39K after his wife gets her fair share under the USPA when she tosses him.

I’m not convinced his was unknown by others over the past 11 years. Lots of blind eyes until the whistle was blown.

He was reduced to LtCol and that is his retirement rank. He still will pull in about $80K per year. According to Military Corruption he was told to take the back door out and retire as a Maj Gen, but decided not to.

I’m not sure. I thought I heard that he’ll get the pension of Lt. Col. That does add to the sting of the demotion. After all, if Bergdahl is found guilty and demoted to private, I doubt he’d get any benefits due to a sergeant.

And regarding being only about sex, the implication with Bill Clinton was that sex doesn’t matter, that liberals don’t consider it important. Liberals are completely accepting of any kind of sex, any number of partners, any gender of partners. Based on the Clinton criteria this general should not have been in any trouble at all.

Because it is really about a general who has no self-control.
