Wimp! :)
I love having four Seasons. I’ve lived elsewhere and I really miss that.
It just takes some pre-planning, as do most things in life. Besides, we love outdoor winter stuff like snowshoeing and riding our snowmobiles. :)
Absolutely. 8>). I've had my fill of the 4 seasons. We have 3 seasons. 1 long hot one, 1 same length as the long hot one, moderate one (broken into 2 times of the year), and 1 short much colder one. It's the last one I hate, but it's still not as bad as the one you experience for much longer as well.
Not nearly as cold here as where you are-but there is a norther arriving early tomorrow and it will be in the low 20’s Sunday night-but no snow predicted. It will be back into the 50’s during the day by mid-week, and 60-65 is about as balmy as it will get until well into February, with some snow days, if this is a typical winter-no global warming here...
I’ve lived in much colder places when my 1st husband was in the military-and done winter holidays in Quebec with MrT5’s relatives, and I like snow-I thought about moving to Alaska a few years ago, but decided winters there are too dark, never mind 30 below for 6 months-my family has been here for well over 200 years-might as well stay...
Here in Texas, we have four seasons in one day! It’s 80 degrees right now and tonight will get down to 18.
