I know how that is: I have two dear liberal friends from (Where else?) Boston who are unabashed Obama-Bots and Uber-Liberals. Their constant anti-Trump posts, none of which was based in any sort of reality, was a constant irritant. In fact one of them had a post which almost pushed me over the edge: somehow one of them claimed that Trump’s victory occurred on the anniversary of Crystal night in Germany in the last century. I don’t really think she knew how stupid that sounded to try and link the Trump election to an event that occurred close to 100 years ago to the present day.
Alo I work with a pinhead whom I believe is a reject from
that elite class. He claimed that I was living in a “bubble” (Which I suspect is the new buzzword for us conservatives and ant1-left wingers) when he tried to make the assertion that all white people (Which amusingly he is) were racists because we don’t like Obama due to his skin color. I was accused of living in this bubble when I pointed out to him that people were objecting to Obama’s policies not because he was black. What made it or the more enjoyable, my counter-attack, was the two Black gentlemen with me agreed with me, pointing out to him that making a generalization was as bad as being racist. Typically he hasn’t been as friendly or comes preaching anymore. Though I’m sure he’ll find some reason to in the future!
