Face it. Some things are just not compatible. There can never be a true peace between Israel and Palestine. Both have strong emotional claims to the same land. If either made a fundamental concession to the other, it would in fact deny the basis and rational of its own existence. Real peace will only come to the area when one or the other ceases to be a definable political entity.

The Israelis have a strong tie to their homeland Israel that goes back over 4000 years, the Arabs of Arabia have a strong emotional tie to dead Jews that goes back 1600 years to the creation of Islam.

Having a Muslim in command of America was a poor choice that inflamed tensions world wide. The new ambassador? Not so much.

But it is a waste of time to point out what is right to a leftist. They long ago rejected everything right.
