$800,000 a round for the new guns, It has broken down at least twice and I expect it it to expensive to drive. I wonder what Arlie Burke would have to say?

The guns are useless. They are not going to make the ammo for them anymore.
They are going to have to a more standard weapon.

Yep, $800k is nuts for a round. Don't have the reference but read in the last day or two that a substitute round will be used. Apparently, the Army's 155mm Excalibur round will fire from the Zumwalt’s guns. This Army $70k round has 30
mile range instead of the 60 mile of the Navy round but has laser terminal guidance capability which the Navy does not. So, the Army round is more versatile but it requires the Zumwalt to be closer to targets at increased risk.
