If these were transition devices, fine. But they have become disgusting delivery systems. Good that so many places do not allow them indoors, that they treat them same as smoking. I do not want to be around them, nor have my family and kids around them.
You’d make a much better Hillary supporter with your insane rants.
I agree with you, RedWulf. My late wife and I didn't smoke at all. After I remarried, my current wife had been a smoker for all of her life. When she and her daughter smoked, they agreed not to smoke in the house or in either of our cars. I was very thankful for that.
However, after e-cigs came out, her doctor, who had been trying to get her to smoke for years .. or, at least, the length of our marriage .. by using all sorts of pills and patches, talked her into trying the e-cigs. She went to the e-cigs and stopped smoking actual cigarettes completely and immediately.
She now vapes in the house and in our cars. To me, the vapor smells alternatively like cotton candy or vanilla, I guess depending on how my nose is working, and there have been no problems with any sort of residue, either on the windows, our clothes, or the fabric of the furniture. Also, there is no smell whatsoever that remains afterwards, the cotton candy/vanilla odor exists only while she's actually vaping.
In my opinion, this is the greatest thing in the world. The only thing that would be better is if she never smoked at all, and I don't have a time machine to go back and change that. Additionally, the cost is amazing: her annual costs for vaping .. equipment and liquid .. runs about $300 per year. Considering cigarettes are running at about $55+ at the PX, the savings are tremendous.
If they ban these altogether, I forecast an exceptionally profitable black-market to develop, and she and I will be customers.
Reno, you can take your Prohibition-era attitudes and pound sand.
No word from the Surgeon General about the benefits of free range weed?.
“Good that so many places do not allow them indoors, that they treat them same as smoking. I do not want to be around them, nor have my family and kids around them.”
Do you go out in public at all?
Lord know what kind of germs people are carrying.

I presume all the people so hot under the collar to defend this disgusting things are also the same people that defending smoking for decades. Well, my dad died last year of smoking, being around vapors is just as disgusting. And, PLEASE, don’t insult me and others as somehow being Clinton supporters or whatever because we don’t want these things around. Give thought that Trump has never smoked or drinked or used drugs. He’ll not be out there defending these things. Are you all going to say he is a Clinton supporter when he says people shouldn’t use these things?
why would anyone want to discourage the switch from cigarettes to a little electronic cigarette with so many fewer health issues...
Your lungs weren’t meant to breath that in numskull, go vape away, you’ll regret it later.
Are these people brain dead or are they being payed off by the tobacco companies? I really don’t know, I’d call it a tossup.
Anyone trying to kill the e-cig industry is an accessory to murder in my harsh opinion.
But but kids might try them and get addicted! So friggin what, nicotine itself is what, about as harmful as caffeine? Lil’ worse? It’s not killing people, carbon monocide and tar is killing people.
It’s hard to see how they’d be doing anything different if they weren’t in the tobacco industry’s pocket.
And now, in addition to butts, some of us have to smell weed too.
A**wipes.
