A growing number of key Democrats raising questions about Attorney General-nominee Sen. Jeff Sessions have spent 20 years praising his character and bipartisanship, leading to a potentially awkward and hypocritical challenge at his upcoming Senate confirmation hearing.
A review of past public statements that show support and admiration for the Alabama senator includes words from Labor Secretary Thomas Perez who plans a spirited bid for the chairmanship of the Democratic National Committee.
Consider: During his 2009 confirmation hearing as assistant attorney general for the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, Perez called Sessions a "wonderfully welcoming person."

The Rats are VERY worried about sessions. They know he has them in his sights. No BS kind of guy.
As both Donald Trump and John McCain should know, Democrats a perfectly willing to be your friend when you are bashing Republicans or giving Democrats money.
Once you oppose a Democrat where you can have a real impact, all that is out the window.
You are now an official monster.
At least until you start supporting Democrat policies again.
They should be. I think they will not be able to stop him; too many senators think well of him. If he lives up to his promise, he will be Chief Swamp Drainer.
Trump will bring out videos of them praising Sessions and label them as _________________ fill in the blank.
There is almost an unwritten rule that present Senators do not go after just-prior Senators when nominated for administrative positions. They hate any precedent in which they themselves could be denied anything. I suspect there will be some posturing but no serious effort to reject Sessions. Brilliant of Trump to get almost a free pass on a a very competent nominee.
Let’s see him come into the confirmation hearing with a big stack of manila folders, one with each Senator’s name in giant letters on it. “I find that criticism rather out of character for you, especially as, during that same time period, let me see here, ah...”
dirty- rotten- lyin’- duplicitious-scumbags.
John Ashcroft may have some thoughts on that.

BOL! Come on!
Post what you really feel about these “dirty- rotten- lyin- duplicitious-scumbags.”
It’s only “awkward” if you have a sense of shame or a conscience — neither condition prevails among most Democrats.
