Odd charges - would seem to hinge upon “intent” to commit a crime. If he gets a good lawyer to argue that his intent was to stop a crime the charge could be thrown out.

The shooter should have been driving a 4x4 with a confederate battle flag on the back window and maybe a Trump or NRA sticker or two. That would make it more believable. You don’t see those on a Prius very often.
