I’ve been to California a couple of dozen times, over the past 30 years.
Strictly business.
Finance ALWAYS audited my expense reports.
“$30 for BREAKFAST?”
Yep.
>>$30 for BREAKFAST?<<
You only get the Continental Breakfast I see.
Must have paid alot for location and service
For location, food, and nostalgia I recommend Orange County's Best Seafood Restaurant in Newport Beach for lunch and dinner at less than what you paid for breakfast. The Halibut is best and the Salmon is good if they run out of Halibut. Then you walk 0.2 miles to the Newport pier and walk along the boardwalk.
If it was “Room Service” you got off cheap.
Really, where do you have breakfast? Mortons?
DOD per diem rates are $59 per day LA/Orange Co, SF, SD.
Only Monterrey county and a couple other spots are $69 per day per diem.
Now of course if you have the full breakfast buffet at better hotels I can see $30 bucks.
Talked to a customer today in San Diego that felt his best future opportunity was to flee the state. This liberal utopia hell hole is only going to get more and more affordable. Considering 5 assholes out of 6 voters in Alameda county voted for HiLIARy my fellow citizens here are morons. Too bad my family and the sane in California ( which there are some)are negatively impacted by their stupidity.
Damn state full of freakin’ snowflakes.
I usually have to go to Cali for a roadshow, so some bank is paying the tab but its seriously ridiculous. NYC is the same way (which I spend 15x as much time as west coast) but at least its a short, inexpensive flight.
