Easy. Fire every single one. Done.
Exactly. They want to be able to develop rules independent of Congressional direction or oversight, supposedly because of the technical nature of the topic (but really so they can do stuff to the voters and the voters can’t do anything about it), but they won’t accept normal chain of command from the executive branch EITHER??? They’re actually explicitly demanding to be a rogue, unaccountable agency?? They think any POTUS can afford to tolerate that? All hell would break loose. Even if there were no policy issue, a POTUS can’t afford to allow executive branch agencies to demand to work without any oversight or accountability. So yeah, if they insist on sticking to this, send them ALL home.
That’s what would happen in the real world, government world obviously is different, you get moved to another agency with your pension intact and higher pay.
My 1st thought.Send out the word we want the list or yer all history.
Lots of fine people out there looking for work
Right. Then let all of them go through the interview process again, including extensive background checks, if they want to be rehired.
Let them all interview for their old jobs.
Yep.
Fire every last one.
Even the janitor.
Firing all the managers is easier—no union issues and problem solved.
If I recall correctly, the permission granted for government employees to unionize was by executive order! Could be gone in the stroke of a pen.
+1
Fire them and make sure they get no government pension nor severance.
This...
Correct.
You read my mind. Fire all of them. Even the janitors. Clean out the nest and start over.
