Speaking for Egypt, they have resisted, and recovered from these deadly attacks (especially the Military), and are still one of the leading nations fighting the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.
On a positive note, much of the resistance to the MB sedition and plan to seize Egypt by force, is accomplished through the Egyptian court system.
It's just that they can't get them executed fast enough.
