A police officer was shot while responding to a scene in north Nashville, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

I do believe all loud domestic or otherwise squabbles require police to ‘suit up’ and not go it alone if at all possible. Too many ferals and other cretinous types have decided that their duty is to die if necessary but to take a cop or 2 with them.

WKRN has learned the officer was hit in the shoulder and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Wondering how many of the domestics with LEOs shot/killed are actual domestics? Since domestics are one call that should generate a prompt response, if a perp or perps wanted to stage an ambush and not wait around, wouldn’t they call in a domestic?

Dad was a patrolman in NYPD in one of the worst neighborhoods in the Bronx. The precinct was called Fort Apache (41st precinct on Simpson street......they made a bogus movie about it). Cops occasionally got killed but it was rare. Criminals knew if they killed a cop and got caught they were in for a nasty arrest whether they themselves were killed or not. There was no or very rare political killings of cops at the time....between 1946 and 1968 when he was on the job.
Things have changed for the worst thanks to Marxists in government trying to destroy America.
Back in the day the Mafia KNEW NEVER KILL A COP if they ever killed a cop the wrath of EVERY LE department would be on them like white on rice!!! Now this administration has created an environment of it being some sort of trophy killing a cop!!! I can NOT wait to be rid of this BASTARD!!! DRAIN THE SWAMP!!!!
We need to turn the killing of a police office a feral offense with automatic death penalty!!!! To many states have done away with death penalty these BASTARDS become heros in prison!!!
