I’m sorry that we, as a society, cannot even debate the issue of homosexuality.
I’m a physician with a son who had sexual identity issues growing up. I could see it developing while young because he was a bit awkward with girls. I learned years later from my Ex that he had been abused by a neighbor when he was just 8, after our divorce.
There is no scientific evidence of a genetic predisposition for homosexuality. Twin studies and research have proven this. Yet, the gay community would let you believe that it’s inborn and a higher form of love making.
In reality, these people are tortured. They end up with drug and alcohol problems, severe depression and suicide. They rarely enter into lasting loving relationships with their partners, and of course there’s the incidence of STDs.
My son took his own life two years ago. The guilt in me will last a lifetime.
It would take a lot of courage for people like you or me, to stand up publicly and talk about the reality of this subject, in essence, to come forth and start debate. Ben Carson did, and he was immediately shouted down. Anyone less than him would be branded a kook.
No one will elected in this country if they come out, to say being gay is abnormal and reversible.
Then you have a guy like Rex Tillerson, an ex Eagle scout. I’m sure he weighed all sides, and it probably tore him up to take the stance he did. Maybe he had people like my son, in his family. Don’t know. I think he realized that he was up against a lobby that would do whatever they could legally to discredit and abolish scounting, if he disallowed gays in scouting.
Then there’s the current generation. They don’t care if you’re red, green or blue. They accept every thing. They are for the most part very prolife. They are passive to anything that goes against tolerance.
Rex Tillerson, will be a great SOS.
Very sorry for your loss. As conservatives, we need to choose our battles, and at this time many have family members and friends openly or closeted homosexual, and we need to back off (that does not include backing off the transgender bathrooms). I doubt seriously he will be traveling the globe promoting homosexuality, he will be doing the job for which he was chosen and that’s to help make America great again, as he has done for Exxon.
