I thought it should have been Rudy. I’ve heard Rudy interviewed, and I feel like Rudy was up for the job and thought he would get it after all his hard work. When it wasn’t automatic and Trump brought in a lot of people, Rudy didn’t want to be part of the cattle call and removed his name.

Just a guess but it sure looks like Jared felt threatened by Rudy and pushed Tillerson instead. He’s building a rep for booting long time Trump supporters. Christie is another one where rumors are floating around that Jared pushed him out. That kid is way out of his “league’ and bad news, IMO.
Just FYI I thought Rudy what have been good, too. And it looks like he got the “ No good deed goes unpunished” routine, which was crappy, but he is pro abortion as well.
