Define Hack first and then address your list of variables, which they can’t do.

I ran across the context for this Casey quote on Quora. Barbara Honegger, the source of the quote, said what Casey meant was:

“Casey expressed astonishment when reporting the huge percentage of CIA ‘intelligence’ that was, and almost certainly still is, based on open sources, and he was absolutely serious when he said that the agency would be successful when everything the American people believed was false.

“Though not explicitly said at that time, it was made clear in other contexts during my two years in the West Wing in the highest level meetings that the pretext for this mentality was the claim that in a Cold War era when communications were essentially instantaneous, the vast majority of “the enemy’s” — then the Soviet Union’s — “intelligence” was also based on open press and media sources, so the most efficient way to lie to the Soviets was to lie in the U.S. and allied media, which meant
the American public believing the lies was considered a kind of ‘collateral damage.’”

Her original post on the subject is here: https://www.quora.com/Did-William-Casey-CIA-Director-really-say-Well-know-our-disinformation-program-is-complete-when-everything-the-American-public-believes-is-false/answer/Barbara-Honegger

Interesting stuff.

I am sure she let all know that she won’t be going down alone.

If the rest of them in DC that were in on her schemes had the same sensibilities and methods as the Clintons, the gang war commencing sometime between now and the end of January would see a bloodbath that would be reminiscent of some of the more brutal Mafia wars. People probably wouldn't get gunned down in barber shops but the epidemic of fatal accidents and suicides among the notables of the Obama era would be phenomenal.
Well, maybe they do. We shall see.

It is all "from sources high in the administration." How much credence should we give that? And Brennan would probably say it was the CIA if he got backed into a corner and he is the head of the CIA. So something he invents can, indeed, be said to come "from the CIA."

From a friend:

I used to administer networks on *ix systems like Linux. Firewalls keep pretty good information about what was tried, where (even if masked), where they went (if using a load balancer) and what URL was the intruder trying to access.

To come out now and say the Russians did it means either that the CIA is incompetent and can’t figure something out that it took a big bank a few hours to figure out or they are engaged in psyops.I have difficulty believing the first, since even a little peon like me can figure that out.

This is psyops because they failed in their recount attempts to show Trump stole it - and instead revealed that it was the DEMS who did; so far they failed at intimidating the electoral college.

Sure the net is rife with rumors about rogue electors; even if it were true, the number of rogue electors is nowhere near 37 and if they haven’t changed their minds by now, they may never change their minds.

It’s worth noting that IF the CIA intended to eliminate Trump, would they tell the world?

With as much access and control over the nation’s computers and so much access freely given to so many people, how can the NSA/CIA definitively say that anyone did it?

They created and hid the exploits. If we can’t plug the security holes, they are just as culpable as any hacker. For all we know, they (or one of their people) might have even done it.

Absolute fabricated nonsense typical of the Atlantic, which before becoming the rag that it is, used to be a very fine magazine.

The evidence to support the CIA’s conclusion that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump remains mostly secret.

Fake evidence has that attribute. Anyone caught producing false evidence and lies about something of the magnitude they are claiming should be charged with treason.
