I have come up with a theory that McCain meets will all new Republican senators. He then offers them support if they’ll support him.
This is why so many of our new politicians go South in short order on Capital Hill.
I’m sure much the same thing happens in the House.

If they switched parties (which will never happen) they woudl be just another voice on the wrong side of everything. As it is they will be the center of attention for every decision, they will be the make-or-break votes on every single damn thing. They and the other two ladies from Maine who at least have the anatomy to match their mentality.
