China said Monday that it had serious concern about President-elect Donald Trumps most recent comments about Taiwan, and warned that any changes to how America deals with the self-governing island could damage diplomatic ties between Washington and Beijing.
Chinas comments came a day after Trump said in a television interview that he didnt feel bound by a one-China policy.
Geng Shuang, a spokesman for Chinas foreign ministry, said that established policy is the political foundation of any diplomatic relationship between China and the U.S., and that any damage to it could render cooperation out of the question.

Yeah, among trolls.
The U.S.A. isn’t going to grease itself up and bend over anymore. China can go to hell they’re awful people in a Stalinist nation. Party’s over China. Obama was a flat-out traitor.
And the good news just keeps on coming.
China has concerns about their populace voting, and expressing sentiment and course of national direction. Freedom is a foreign word to them. Power ON... Trump, respect the Democratically elected leader of Taiwan.
China can go pound sand
Maybe their very good trustworthy friends in Russia Vietnam and India can protect their flanks and buy their Christmas lights and fireworks
I think its hilarious the MSM and the Left is all worked up about Trump taking a phone call (etc) with Taiwan about how it may upset China but thinks nothing of openly saying Russia “hacked” our election and what it might do to US/Russian relations.
They were also silent about obama and the senate selling billions of dollars of US weapons to Taiwan over the past decade
One China yada yada pant twisting
but arms dealing means money to big donors
Talk about “FAKE NEWS!”.......Jeeez!!!
I do wonder what people like Darlene Stuporville are going to do with themselves when their demigod is out of office.
I think China is very worried...they don’t know what to do, all their ‘backup’ is gone...wow, they are in a bad place and threats won’t do any good, not with President Trump...
Very true. They have no manufacturing capacity for things like cell phone, computers or cars. Their E-commerce sector is weak and they have no other place to buy aircraft. Without us their screwed.
My question is why is Trump saying these things now, instead of waiting until he is sworn in?
Obama’s State Dept must be going nuts right now
We need the boo hoo girl.
“My question is why is Trump saying these things now, instead of waiting until he is sworn in?”
Let the negotiations begin.
Since there hasn’t been any cooperation for decades, who cares what Beijing thinks?
We ought to go back to Postal Romanization (e.g. Peking). I’m tired of seeing Party-approved Hanyu Pinyin transliterations.
China can’t do anything about Trump or the US if they want to keep getting paid back for the debt we owe them. Want to start a war with us? Say goodbye to a trillion dollars.
China, “this rookie” is going to help you understand that choking on mounds of exports in an economy who’s #1 customer is the USA market is not a good position to be issuing threats from toward said rookie. Unlike other Presidents that were globalist sock puppets meant to strip mine the US and build up your country, he actually cares about the US.
Get your popcorn ready.
Oh I think China will get over it. Lol
