Remember when we could trust the U.S. news media but not the Russian?

Hasn't happened in my lifetime, and I'm 54.

It's been a long time, but once--long, long ago--Russians pressed their ears against clandestine radios to learn the truth from Western news outlets.

Today those Western news outlets are propaganda machines comparable to the Russian propaganda machines of those long ago days, and Americans more and more search Russian news outlets for truth, knowing that they will not learn it from the American media.
