“To the extent that foreign interference in the United States presidential elections may have influenced the final result, I believe the electors have the right to consider that,” Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.) told POLITICO in a statement on Saturday.
Politico further reported:
Cicilline appears to be the first member of Congress and the highest-ranking elected official in the country to endorse the notion that electors aren’t simply rubber stamps for their states’ popular vote. Earlier Saturday, he retweeted a Rhode Island-based national security expert who argued that the intelligence community “must brief electoral college about Russia before vote.”
Cicilline was referring to reports in the Washington Post and New York Times claiming Moscow interfered in the presidential election to help Donald Trump win — a contention the President-elect called “ridiculous” in an interview on Sunday.
Cicilline’s comments come after a Democratic presidential elector from California filed a lawsuit aiming to overturn a California statute that requires him and the states’ other electors to support the winner of the popular vote in the state with the aim of voting for someone else. The lawsuit, the second of its kind nationwide, is clearly part of an effort to set a legal precedent to free any rogue Republican electors in other states to cast their ballots for someone other than Trump.

Every elector pledged to Hillary should seriously consider her pay-for-play schemes, in which she took money from the Saudis, Russia, some other Middle East king, etc. Then they should think about the fact that Trump is beholden to no one. They should just cast their votes for Trump and distance themselves from crooked Hillary.
Since the "Russia Did It Scam" is an obvious political ploy by Obama and his corrupt Intelligence organizations I recommend that, at a minimum, the larger delegations from California and New York should consider going against the voters from their respective states and vote for Trump.
It would send an important message to the totally corrupt Dem Party and would help "heal the nation".

Hillary failed to fathom that calling voters "deplorable" exposed the Democrats' disdain for Americans, that the Dems believe they are morally superior.
Hillary's idiotic video of herself implying she is so superior to the rest of us that she should be 150 points ahead of Trump is testimony to the reason for her ignominious loss.

Democrats should consider fact that the people that have guns and love their country would frown on an attempted overthrow of a Democratically elected President and that those involved would have short careers as dictators.
Considering that some consider her actions to be accepting bribes and also to be treason, maybe she should be arrested before the electoral college votes, and the Trump electors should consider saving the Republic by voting for him, just like the people did.
Every candidate knows that opposition research is done, and such research is released (October surprise), so they should prepared to face any and all sins whether it comes from someone like Dan Rather, a political insider, or government agency who doesn't want you to be their boss.
Don't do illegal things and play dirty tricks, and then there won't be a story for someone to tattle at the last minute. And if you are going to document your dirty tricks with email, at least make sure your system is secure-big brother Uncle Sam is watching even if no one else is.
The time has come to intimidate Democrats. They are all Ameritrash and not fit to breathe American air. They demonstrate every day their contempt for America and American values.

Electors should consider the fact that Hillary is a lying murdering traitor before casting votes for her, which would itself be an act of giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
The electors should consider that Hillary owes payback to a lot of dangerous people who are looking to undermine US ntl security. Hillary's creditors could endanger the safety and security of all Americans.
