Release some emails? That in itself is not damaging.
If it is the content that is damaging, for that the democrats have only their own duplicitous selves to blame. Had they not trashed Bernie Sanders, obtained debate questions from CNN, commingled funds etc. etc. there would be no problems. They should have kept the email content limited to yoga pants and a wedding and no one would have paid attention.

An excellent summary. I have noted the ambiguity of the phrase that the Russians “hacked the election,” and how many people are incorrectly interpreting that to mean that the election process itself (vote tabulations, etc.) was hacked. And that incorrect impression is the impression the media are trying to create.
