What is best in life? Crush America's big government liberal enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women (whether XX or XY).

Just don't get cocky. We have to accomplish as much as possible in these eight years of prosperity. Liberals will be back, and they will want to regrow the welfare state. We need to leave a barren landscape where they will have to start from scratch to do that.

I’m going to start calling Mark Cuban “Mark Chabenisky”. Turns out his grandfather changed the family name from “Chabenisky” to “Cuban” after arriving at Ellis Island. The family are Russian and Romanian Jews.

Keith Ellison will write the requiem for the Dem Party.

I don't know why all the enthusiasm for the GOP. Trump has written GOPee's requiem already.

and there it is...

At the time, Clinton’s status as the lone serious Democratic candidate in the 2016 field was touted as a virtue by party insiders. No primary! And she’s by far our best candidate anyway, they argued.

The truth — as exposed by Clinton’s stunning loss to Donald Trump on Tuesday night — was that the Democratic bench was (and is) remarkably thin, a sign of both the relative ill health of the party downballot and the isolated appeal of Obama.

Think about it: Why was Clinton essentially handed the nomination in early 2015? After all, she had failed once already as a front-runner in 2008. And, she represented a political theory — Clintonism — that was clearly running out of gas in an increasingly tribal and polarized political world. Not to mention that she would be 68 on Election Day 2016, not exactly the next generation of leadership for the party.

The reason for the “Clinton or bust” strategy was simple: There simply wasn’t anyone else. Vice President Biden was a possibility, but the death of his oldest son, Beau, in May 2015 effectively sidelined him. (And at 73, Biden isn’t exactly a spring chicken.) Beyond Biden and Clinton, name someone else who looked ready to make a serious run at a national nomination. There isn’t anyone. (Trust me, I have thought about virtually every possibility.)

Okay, then what you are saying is that if the positions were reversed, you’d wouldn’t have a problem with it.

LOL.

I would!

We control the White House

We control the U.S. Senate

We control the House of Representatives

We have 33 Republican governors

We control 37 of the Legislative Upper Houses

We control 33 of the Legislative Lower Houses

We have absolute veto-proof majorities in 25 states.

The Democrats have absolute veto-proof majorities in 6 states.

Here is a workup I recently put together:

No. Al Franken for President, and Jill Stein for Vice President. Franken/Stein. Frankenstein.

Here's the problem: they are about to have a MAJOR factional fight between the over 60 crowd (especially members of Congress) and the up-and-coming 45-55 crowd inside the Party. It's going to take couple of years to sort it out.

In related news, the conductor of this train was reported to be not very excited about the future of his train shortly before this photo was taken.

The Left and their cursing! I’ve asked them about that habit but they curse at me and never answer.

I continually wonder how Cuban was so successful.

Just about every time I watch the guy, I’m amazed at the dumb things he’s doing.

Nope.

I'm pointing out that yes, while we have the upper hand right now, the dimocrat party is by no means done with.

Consider:

Obamacare is still the law of the land.

The homosexual/lesbian agenda continues to advance.

Abortion is still a fact of life in America.

Medicare and Medicaid continue to expand.

Disability roles continue to expand.

Has any "entitlement" program been curtailed by the gop?

Did 43 and the GOP house and senate cut anything?

Just because the Rs control both houses and the governorship doesn't equate to conservative ideas being advanced.

In GA, Deal is a R and both houses are super majority Rs yet, Campus Carry was vetoed by Deal and the Religious Freedom bill was vetoed.

We just lost the governors office in NC due to the LGBT position of that state.

Nonsense...this is the third election in a row where the gop candidate received fewer votes than the dim.

The Republicans should be able to maintain a lock on the Senate and the majority of the state governorships and legislatures, because Republicans are the majority in a majority of the states.

The House and the Presidency are a serious problem though. Republicans continue to control the House because of successful gerrymandering. Republicans can only continue to win the Presidency due to the Electoral College. I doubt that a Republican candidate is going to win the popular vote again in my lifetime, because of the overwhelming Democrat majority in the urban areas.

The Republican long term strategy needs to be to continue to build support in all of the rural majority states and write off California and most of New England.

We presume everyone with a R after their name is a true conservative.

We've seen too many times that does not bear out.

I'd rather be in our shoes though than dimocrat shoes.
