China remains opposed to unilateral sanctions against North Korea taken without the approval of the U.N. Security Council, the countrys chief negotiator on the Norths nuclear program was quoted Saturday as saying.
Wu Dawei also told his South Korean counterpart in talks Friday that China is adamantly opposed to the Souths deployment of an advanced U.S. missile defense system that China says poses a threat to its own security, Chinas foreign ministry said in a statement. [ ]
China demands that South Korea give weight to Chinas concerns about the Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense, or THAAD, missile system, which is intended to counter North Koreas nuclear and missile threats, Wu said, according to the ministry.

We need to do more than place a few missiles in SK.
Without the Chinese, NK would wither and die.
And guess how the Red Chinese got so rich.
Why would they do that, and how would the ChiComs define “clean(ing) house”?
China keeps N. Korea like a pit bull that it will claim it isn’t responsible for when the dog bites someone.
