Russia had every interest in defeating Hillary Clinton. She had clearly exposed herself as a globalist war merchant who had the support of many of the “neo-conservatives” who had been driving U.S. foreign policy for 25 years.

“Russia had every interest in defeating Hillary Clinton. She had clearly exposed herself as a globalist war merchant who had the support of many of the “neo-conservatives” who had been driving U.S. foreign policy for 25 years.”

You have summed up their fake news meme perfectly.

But the US left’s globalist war merchant agenda is not a real threat to the Kremlin - they benifit from it as we waste blood and treasure on futile conflicts while weakening our global strategic position.

The real threat to Russian ascendancy is the Reaganesque peace through strength strategy offered by Trump, which foregoes the endless conflicts that enrich special interests but bleed us dry and leave us weak. Under a Trump presidency our military strength is consolidated, our credibility is restored and our allies return to the fold. It is the same strategy that ended the Cold War and snuffed out the Soviet Union without bloodshed. That is what the Russians fear - not a Clinton.

It’s naive to think the Kremlin is stupid enough to help Trump beat Clinton. If they could influence our elections, they would stop Trump at all costs, and happily install another weak and feckless democrat.

The intel that hurt Clinton was probably leaked by mid level patriots in our own intelligence organizations who are tired of being sold out by the globalist politicians. Then, since the leaked info is now swirling all over the Internet, it’s easy to claim that so-and-so hacked it - and use them as a patsy.

The left especially likes this meme that it was Russian hackers because if the Russians preferred Trump, that frames Trump as a weakling with misplaced admiration for Putin, while Clinton is seen as the hawkish adversary feared by the Russians.

What a joke.
