I was strongly against Mitt, but now that Giuliani is out, I am okay with either Romney or Tillerson as Secretary of State.
Trump knows what he is doing. I will trust and support whoever he thinks is best for the job.
As the quotes above show, it appears that Romney and Trump are on the same page as far as foreign policy. I think they can work together. I am still worried, however, that Romney might work to undermine Trump and eventually stab him in the back, especially when it comes the ultimate sacred cow of both the Establishment Republicans and Estabishment Democrats: NAFTA -- where the Secretary of State would have a major role.
I like Trump's plan. He wants to first stabilize the world that Obama and Hillary threw into chaos so that we can concentrate on fixing America. Except for ISIS, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, possibly China, possibly a couple of other situations. we will work with, instead of against, other countries (including Russia) as far their political situations in order to foster stability.
We will rebuild our military, especially with high tech, but we will work with countries to encourage, but not impose, democracy until there is more stability.

I’m not arguing for Romney, but he is a smart capable guy, and certainly would have been infinitely better than the pastbfour years of Obama. I trust Trump.

Did he win?
That's all that matters. If he didn't get the W in 2012, then he ain't worth the stuff that dogs puts out during my morning walk.

Romney is a miserable, lying sleazebag who will say anything at all that serves his own personal interests at any given moment.
In 2012, when he wanted (and received) Trumps endorsement for his doomed presidential campaign, he spoke about about Trump in the most glowing, obsequious terms:
Romney thanks Trump for endorsement.
But in 2016, all of a sudden Trump was a liar, a con man and a failure as a business man.
As the above video shows, Romney doesn't have an ounce of integrity, and shouldnt be anywhere near the Trump administration or any other administration, for that matter.

Romney is a proven loser. Our country can’t afford Romney.
Make Romney the Czar of planet Kolob and I won’t complain.

NOPE!
romney is an ass.
NONE of us liked him all that much when he ran, NOW we want him as SOS?!
HE DOES NOT share conservative values, as we have ALL said a million times.
Now he does?
Mitt was the guy who “as far as he knew” didn’t see anything pushing the pro life agenda in his presidency.
He’s a piece of ####.

I am not OK with Romney. There are many other candidates, most of them better qualified and all of them without Romney's open antagonism to Trump and his agenda. There is zero reason to appoint Romney - this can only end in years of press leaks from State undermining Trump's foreign policy goals, culminating in a Romney firing, followed by a tell-all book. Why even start down this road? No Romney.
