Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald is the definition of fake news.
Eichenwald tweeted Thursday night that attendees at Donald Trump’s victory rally actually booed when the President-elect announced the passing of the late, great John Glenn.

Eichenwald doubled down on the claim, which was soon to be proven totally false.

After being exposed, Eichenwald apologized for his mistake with a third tweet.

No one would boo at anytime.
He didn’t make a mistake. He lied on purpose.
The saddest possible thing to happen is for those responsible for such things to keep allowing ‘journalists’ to blatantly and brazenly lie until citizens start deciding its a problem they need to correct on their own initiative.
There was booing and noise. It was from anti-Trump hecklers.
Eichenwald is SUCH a hack! He was doing the same thing to Bernie that he then went on to do to Trump.

Decades ago i watched parts of the republican convention, live (i think 92 or 96). On more than one occasion the media reporters described it as a “lily white convention”. Yet when the cameras swept the convention floor, i saw more minorities on the floor of the republican convention than i saw on the floor of the democratic convention.
I watched the rally last night & to be honest, I thought the booing was about Glenn too. It seemed like at first, Trump did too. He was facing the other direction & started to say “no, no we like John Glenn” or something like that. As he turned to the booing, he realized it was a protester & what was going on.
I would fire his ass.
He has no credibility left, and that’s all a reporter has to offer.
They will learn, slowly, that in today’s age of cameras in every hand and immediate streaming to thousands of eyes, anything they write, report or, in this case, tweet, will come under immediate ‘fact checking’ the likes of which they have never endured before..................
A MISTAKE? NO, OBAMASS IS A MISTAKE, YOU LIED!
Furthermore, most of what the Left says and does has little basis in reality. Their words and actions are a combination of what they so desperately want to be so, coupled with a denial of what is so.
And, because so many on the Left possess little sense of public embarassment or of shame, they are unable to grasp how ridiculous their immaturity is viewed by rational, decent people.
