“Port Canaveral is home to a U.S. Navy submarine base”

I’m sorry, but I really don’t think Port Canaveral is a sub base. The closest sub base is at King’s Bay in St. Mary Georgia.

USN uses the port for the SSBNs.

NOTU is based there and subs do dock there as they do qual shots down the Eastern Range.

It is not a “Sub Base”, however, there is a submarine “Support Facility”.

I was on the USS Ohio and USS Michigan during certain tests and trials there.

There are definitely Submarine “facilities” there.
