Link only due to copyright issues. Is The Detroit News a reputable source? In any case, this does not mean the Michigan Supreme Court has actually agreed to hear the Stein's case. From what I understand, the odds of doing so are slim.

FYI - It’s still 3-2 Republican and Stein needs a 4 votes to overturn

Not good. Three leftist judges versus two conservatives left.

This should never have gotten this far. But it has because of millions of dollars.

Soros has given more than $7 billion to a who's who of left-wing groups. ... activities, and in Thailand he was called an “economic war criminal:

The recusal statements are available at the Michigan Supreme Court homepage. CJ Young's recusal statement is a good read.

The state AG's answer to Stein's leave to have her appeal heard is also available there.

I predict the Michigan Supreme Court will deny Stein's application to be heard. She can appeal that to the feds.

Well then! He can always enlarge the list until there’s nobody left to decide the case. :)

I’m fairly certain that’s how it works to overturn the lower court’s decision.

-- well that's futile --

We can say that in hindsight of the state appellate and federal court cases, but a few days ago, the feds were signaling (albeit only via Judge Conehead) that the right to a recount is fundamental under the US constitution.

3 republicans and 2 democrats

But, they are interpreting MI law, and it seems pretty clear in this case.

Good one! It’s just that ‘rats aren’t known for avoiding the appearance of impropriety. We would end up with an all ‘rat court.

I take it that one of the Republicans is a leftist? No surprise, but it takes boots on the ground to know.

They won’t hear her and I don’t think she can jump to the USSC.
