Day 8 of the Wisconsin recount followed the same pattern as the days that came before: Candidates won and lost votes, but nothing came close to altering Donald Trumps November 8 victory.
The Wisconsin Election Commission reported that Hillary Clinton was up a net 61 votes on day 8. Thats the figure that matters; however, thats an insignificant number considering that Donald Trump leads by about 22,000 votes in Wisconsin overall. Green Party nominee Jill Stein spent $3.5 million on the Wisconsin recount.
The results of the election are not going to change in this recount, Joe Czarnezki, Milwaukee County clerk said to Fox 6 Milwaukee on December 8.
Theres one big caveat though: The City of Milwaukee recounted results are still unknown. Thats because Milwaukee has still not added its absentee ballots into the Election Commission spreadsheet.
The city wards show huge deficits for each candidate, but they are misleading until the absentee votes are counted. That leaves Milwaukee a big question mark, and its obviously the populous area where Hillary Clinton would be most likely to gain votes as it historically skews Democratic.
However, its looking like Milwaukees totals will soon be known:

Always suspicious when a big city is the last to cough up the votes. I’m guessing that they are waiting to see whether it’s possible to bring H over the top but 22,000 extra votes is way outside the historical margins and probably a bridge too far even for the corrupt dems.
“Jill Stein spent $3.5 million on the Wisconsin recount”
No, she spent someone else’s money and I bet if you were able to track it back I have a feeling there would be some taxpayer dollars in there as well.
WI is now a Red State.
D margins there have gotten smaller and smaller since 2000 and it finally disappeared this year.
VA is now a Blue State so that kind of evens out the picture in the EC.
Milwaukee County finished their recount late last evening. Results to State today.
Apparently, the recount is 82% complete as of the end of yesterday.
That comes out to about $50,000 per vote for Hillary, which is pretty close to her average for the entire election.
VA has this tendency to blow it on 3rd party libertarians
Sucks to be a Democrat in a Red State.
Has a GOP Governor and GOP legislature and is now Red on the presidential level.
WI has Milwaukee and Madison, sure. But TX has Austin.
Doesn’t mean a lot when Democrats can’t win there.
Milwaukee is stalling.
They have a Mayor who just wants a choo-choo trolley that goes around the block. Just a waste of money.
A real idiot with no concept of reality.
I’m a bit confused by the sentence about the Milwaukee absentee ballots. Does it mean that they haven’t been re-counted, or does it mean they were NEVER counted in the first place?
The change in VA is more or less permanent.
In the old days, Republicans could win it in a walk. No more.
Same thing is appearing in WI.
In the old days, Democrats could win it in a walk. No more.
Since the two states nearly have the same number of electoral votes, Democrats no longer have an advantage in the EC.
So much for all the talk of a Democratic majority to rule the next generation.
Libs will flee WI for greener pastures which would only make WI redder.
If they all moved to VA, no great loss.
Perhaps Milwaukee, like Detroit, has so much Democrat vote fraud that the Democrats don’t want anyone looking at their bogus numbers. Or they may still be printing votes in some basement somewhere.
MilMadstan - the Boulder of WI.
WI Democrats have shrunken.
They couldn’t oust Scott Walker and failed to get Russ Feingold back into the Senate.
Gotta love Cheeseheads.
It would be a great loss to VA! It’s been very disheartening watching my state turn blue.. :(
Sucks.
But things do balance out and Democrats have only a small electoral vote base, if you leave out CA.
After getting CA’s 55, Hillary’s electoral vote count stalled. Trump won 32 states - a nice haul.
Hillary got half that number.
Once again are we being click-baited? When the total of the absentee ballets doesn’t change the initial margin of victory then a winner is declared. So, at this point how can we even entertain the idea that the total absentees to come will change the result. Isn’t the ‘Well, we still haven’t heard from such-n-such’ actually moot?
