Screwing around with liquid nitrogen without safety equipment is a BAD idea.

Yes. Among the hazards are accidental immersion resulting in frozen/frostbitten body parts, and asphixiation if working with it in an enclosed space. Had a guy at work pass out and hit his head on the floor that way.
