At while back a guy working there admitted the bias, saying they were paid by the government and “not to advertize the opposition”. That was after the mass-rapings around New Year and it’s a great reason why government funding of media leads to them lying to the public.

why government funding of media leads to them lying to the public. The German public broadcasters are not funded by the gov't, but by the people they lie to (the public). There is no opt-out. Everyone must pay.
