The IRS scandal, like ISIS, like RomneyCARE,
began with the GOP, with McCain and Romney.

McCain and Romney and Ryan will destroy America.

Same bunch that Trump was referring to when he said “Drain The Swamp”. The lazy crooked bastards (372 of them who voted against pursuing the impeachment) just want to let the law breaker Clinton’s off since too many have wound up dead that have gone against them....They too could wind up on the Clinton’s deceased list.

They just don’t learn. Unbelievable.

Impeachment is pointless at this stage of the game. Trump will just toss the bum out in January.

Some Republicans remain a big part of the problem.

Impeachment would be worthless because the Senate Dems would never vote to remove. Can’t pursue contempt of Congress as the DOJ would just stonewall and then he’ll be out of office early next year. We’ll see what changes with Sessions in charge of the DOJ instead of Obama stooges - if Congress will get serious about people lying to them under oath.

So future liberal IRS commissioners will look at this dope and Louis Lerner and know that they can prosecute conservative and Christian groups without consequence.

They should impeach, but there is another option that just requires criminal prosecution. The IRS Commissioner is obviously guilty, as are several others whose names we know, and they should all be prosecuted:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/242

18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law

Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States . . . shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both . . . [or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.]

_____________________________________________________________

If Congress cannot afford the distraction from the important work of dismantling every last vestige of Obama’s legacy, then I’m okay with just prosecuting every person at the federal, state, and local level who denied Americans their Constitutional rights based on political motives. Send them to prison. If an injury or death resulted, even by a stretch of logic, then prosecute them under felony murder so that the final clause comes into effect. [This obviously includes Lois Lerner of the IRS, and Oregon’s Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, who fined the Christians of Sweet Cakes $135,000 for refusing to participate in a gay parody of a wedding. ]

You’re correct but they should have impeached just for the principle of it in my view.

I can’t wait for Sen Sessions to become AG, we’re going to see big changes at DOJ.

Trump had better dump Koskinen, AND he better go after Lois Lerner and the other IRS employees that took part in the lawless abuse of the Tea Party orgs. They need to be made an example of to send a message to the rest of Fedzilla that this type of conduct won't be tolerated.

That’d work if they’d only prosecute.

“Too much time would be wasted on an impeachment.”

Impeaching, indicting, finding guilty and hanging a traitor is not a waste of time. It sends a strong message to all the other neo-Nazi traitors in the federal bureaucracy.
