Reminds one of that Rhode Island nightclub fire in 2003 - 100 dead. I care not what their political or social affiliation is/was, nobody deserves to be burned alive at a party.

My feelings too. Regardless of who they were or the circumstances, this was a horrible thing.

What a horrible tragedy.
Nobody goes to a club / dancing expecting to die in an inferno.
Such terrible news to learn. :-(

Thank you. I was at Sun Valley mall in Concord in 1985 when the plane crashed, I was literally 5 feet from the fire when it happened. That night I was 15 and I saw a woman burned so bad to almost the bone, all I remember is her eyes looking at me and in those eyes was a dying woman. I smell it sometimes at the airport with the fumes of the fuel, I smell it when chicken is barbecuing, it is a thing that never leaves you.
I don’t care who they were, prayers to them.

“Reminds one of that Rhode Island nightclub fire in 2003 - 100 dead.”

Yes, just awful. And the infamous Cocoanut Grove fire in Boston decades ago. Here is the wiki link

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocoanut_Grove_fire

According to that piece “492 people [were killed] (which was 32 more than the building’s authorized capacity)”
