Use of “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and “To Kill a Mockingbird” were suspended after a parent raised concerns about their use of the N-word.

A parent.

A = one.

Of how many in this school district?

Tyranny of the minority, much?

There are 11 schools - combination of all kinds - elementary\middle\high school.

I don't know which school (I read these in H.S.)

Accomack County Public schools =
67.9% white
29.7% black.

So, I wonder if it was a P.C. white mother ?
I haven't chased the parent (she's named)

Wanna bet she, the parent, hasn’t even read the freaking book, just scanned it for certain words..

The school board should demand the parent give them, the board, a book report. Then have the discussion.
