The report was disappointing news for the outgoing Obama administration, which had enjoyed a long stretch of historically low increases in health care spending, and had sought to credit its 2010 health care overhaul for taming costs.

Drug spending is the same racket as college tuition - hike the prices and the govt will blindly cover it.

Healthcare spending more than anything else has been busting the federal budget for the past 30+ years. We can’t afford it anymore.

There are going to have to be difficult cutbacks, soon. Powerful lobbies are going to have to be confronted and forced to back down, because the alternative is quickly becoming fiscally impossible.

The cowardice of our politicians since the late 1980’s in shoving these decisions aside and dumping them on future generations is truly disgusting.

“Who saw this coming?”

*Raises Hand*

ME and hundreds of thousands of others?

Repeal and replace with:

*Pre-Existing conditions compensated for and put in their own pool.

*The ability to shop across state lines for health insurance to get the best deal. The Free Market Rocks!

*Healthcare slush funds that any and ALL can contribute to via our paychecks.

*Catastrophic care plans for those of us that live our lives outdoors, are healthy, but could still get cancer or be kicked in the head by the cow. Other than that, we can pay our own way, Thank You!

driven by the coverage expansion in President Barack Obama’s law and by costly prescription drugs, the government said Friday.

More like driven by millions of unemployed and illegals streaming across the border.

Patient bad debt is also going up because they can’t afford the Obamacare deductibles.
