As a nation they possess oil and gas,, access to the Atlantic and Pacific, every mineral known to man, timber, fine farmland, a solid if uneducated workforce, no threat of external invasion or war, Gold, Silver, you name it.

If Trump is really saavy, he’ll take advantage of California’s recent legalization of Medicinal Marijuana, develop it and market it efficiently, and in 4 years the US will be exporting marijuana to Mexico.
Then leverage the drug cartels to his agenda.
