I would imagine Trump may do something like that - he’s not against another country prospering, just having them proper as a welfare program paid for by the American People.

I’m sure there are small shops selling some form of fast food there. The idea is to start blossoming jobs. The people who hold even low wage jobs spend money. That creates other jobs.

Some of those other jobs will be higher paying jobs.

It doesn’t have to be U.S. food. It can be Mexican fair, that people will enjoy.

I now what you are saying. It may not be for everyone at first. Every job though, is one that will help their economy.

As their economy builds hope, the U.S. becomes less of a magnet.

I hope so too - indications are that he will be only too happy to let other countries in on the secret of doing what it takes within themselves to climb out of their third world status instead of giving them handouts even as they trash us. Nothing like a sense of personal responsibility (and not feeding the wild animals so they forget how to fend for themselves) to help someone grow up.
