Orange County itself has changed a great deal due to the influx of foreigners.
The Register used to pride itself in having a mix of libertarian and conservative leanings. The demographic change, a management shift and the constant inundation of letters to the editor by unemployed lefties caused the paper to become unreadable after a while. Not even worth it for the comics, sudoku and Sunday coupons.
