Court hearing set to consider Pa. Vote Recount

HARRISBURG — The Green Party-backed push for a recount of Pennsylvania’s presidential election results will get its day in court.

Commonwealth Court has scheduled a hearing for 10 a.m. Monday in Harrisburg to consider the recount effort pushed by former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, according to a court order Tuesday.

Ms. Stein’s campaign helped coordinate a legal challenge this week seeking the statewide recount, contending the Nov. 8 election was illegal and its results inaccurate.

It cited as evidence research by computer scientists pointing to potential hacking of electronic voting machines, as well as numerous news reports of hacking, possibly by foreign governments, into email accounts associated with the Democratic National Committee and the campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton.

Note the date on the top of the article and what we found out this AM in Montgomery County (judge rejecting request for recount there).

Since our courts are so anti-American, I guess this is a done deal.

“Evidence”, “foreign hacking”

Now _that_ is fake news.

This will end the same way the Montgomery County request did! Dead on arrival!

That’s their proof?
Theoretical machine hacking and fake news reports of Russian hacking?
That wouldn’t win a spot on the high school, debate team

First judicial question [providing they have not shopped for a sympathetic judge] should be:

On what grounds of harm do you establish the petition? Specifically, and to wit, and regardless of any fraud or impropriety within the registration or counting of the overall votes...

in what way would that have caused you to lose [suffer harm] in your elective effort to gain the presidency?

I've never seen anyone fight so hard who only got 1% of the vote. Stein is working for Hilary and Soros

We should demand recounts in states that Hillary and her illegals stole like Colorado etc.

The point is moot. There is absolutely no way that a state the size of Pennsylvania could be recounted at this late in the process. The court doesn't even meet until December 8th, assuming they sided with Stein on everything. It would still take several days to even set up a recount, the federal deadline of the 13th would pass before the recount would even start. No judge is going to risk disenfranchising every voter in the state by missing the electoral college certification.

I don’t have the same level of confidence in this state’s judiciary as you do.

Too many times I have seen them twist themselves into pretzels in the name of defending Democrats.

My confidence is not in the state. Mine is in other people who will ensure the right thing is done.

I read in a related Montgomery Cty thread that the Board Of Elections person told the Judge that the voting machines do not connect to the Internet, thus Hacking is not possible, so the Judge tossed it. Slight problem regarding the facts as it pertains of Jill’s case describe how she was ‘harmed’ in the first vote count.

If a recount cant be done on time, the State will have to certify the current tally. Period.

And another thing. PA use voting machines only. No paper trail. Hand recount cannot be done. The only thing that can be done is run the machines again.

I recall reading earlier this week that Pennsylvania election officials are not at all happy with Stein’s antics. They probably do not want to have anything to do with a recount at this stage in time (well after the last request date came and went).

Tp paraphrase Stalin, it’s not the Votes, it’s who recounts the Votes.

So who did these judges vote for?

Here is the website of the Commonwealth Court:

The vast majority look like they voted for the Witch.
