But regardless of who said it, anyone with common sense knows that any fraud or voting improprieties are likely to have favored the democrats - and exposing them will only help the republicans.
This has to be something the democrats would be concerned about - so I suspect these recount “efforts” are for show and will soon be abandoned.
No, the purpose of all these recount “efforts” is to support a narrative that the election was very close, “Clinton won the popular vote!” “The electoral college system is antiquated and racist”. “Only a few swing states allowed Trump to win!” “Look how close they were!” “Within the margin of error!” “Recount!”
They don’t actually want a recount, they just want to keep talking about how close it was, how dumb the electoral college is, so they can deprive Trump if any landslide effect, or mandate.
