That would certainly make those congress critters more open to the idea of fixing what is broke.

These regular, almost automatic Congressional exemptions are prima facie violations of the 14th Amendment.

It’s time for the US version of Magna Carta. Government types are subject to any and all laws they pass. Perhaps they just might see what a burden the laws are.

Perhaps it’s time for a change. Congress members should get no exemption from any law they pass. Period.

It might also expedite term limits

If you like (vote for) term limits you can keep your medical plan while you term out.

A wooden stake and a large hammer would be the first step.

Capitol Hill has a major deluge of “swamp sewage” that needs to be drained.

This would get Obamacare repealed faster than any other single action. No way Congress and staff live by that law.

Or use the power of the pen and exempt everyone right after inauguration.

Doing that would mean leaving Obamacare in place. Just repeal Obamacare. Stupid suggestion by Jenny Beth Martin when you think about what it really means.

Add in all the exempt Unions and it flies out the window.

I've thought this should be the case for decades now.

There is also a list of unions and Obama buddies who were allowed to be exempt from Ocare. That list should be discarded, which will serve as a helpful stimulus for repeal.

The president has no authority to repeal ObamaCare. Only Congress can do that.

The only thing he CAN do is issue executive orders that fall within the authority given to the Executive Branch under ObamaCare. This is one such executive order that will give Congress a big incentive to overhaul the law completely.

Yes! Income based, no subsidies! Let them have fun scanning the plan choices with $20K premiums for a family, and >$10K deductibles.
Enjoy!
