It was determined at trial that Jamiel Jr., who had no criminal record or ever any history with gangs, was targeted and killed due to the color of his skin.
The elder Shaw helped create Jamiel’s Law, a proposed ordinance to deport known illegal alien gang members, and has testified before Congress multiple times on the matter. But after years of advocating for tighter immigration enforcement at local, state, and federal levels, only to be met with dead-ends and closed doors, Shaw found an ally in President-elect Donald Trump.

And if you ever seen the most wanted crooks in LA, you can see how bad it is. Practically ALL of them are illegals. This is the politicians in Los Angeles and other cities in California willfully and deliberating assisting foreign enemies of the United States which is TREASON and they ARE enemies of the United states because their first order of business is committing an offense against this country by sneaking in. ALL of these politicians supporting sanctuary cities should be immediately removed from office and tried for treason. Let's see how eager they are to provide "sanctuary" after that.

I cannot imagine the hurt and anger Mr. Shaw Sr. Feels. His son’s death could have been prevented if Democrat And Republican elites put the health and welfare of American’s first. Sanctuary Cities promote illegal immigration and provide taxpayer funds to support the illegal immigrant population. The elected officials of these Sanctuary cities have blood on their hands and do not care one bit for the citizens or legal immigrants who play by the rules.
I remember reading about this incident back in 2008 and being angry that this innocent young man was gunned down by gang banger illegals.

I agree. Black Americans are Americans. They are the ones being hurt most by the illegal invasion. They are the ones not getting the entry-level jobs—fast food, construction, etc. Yet their “leaders” seem to be more interested in uniting the “people of color” (which isn’t really going to happen outside of college campuses) against the “man” than advocating what would be best for Americans who happen to be black.
The dem party is a tent full of factions, many at odds with one another.
Blacks have only one role expected by dems; provide votes, even in the face of conflicting policies.

It isn’t just the politicians, it is also a bunch of the residents. If not, the residents would vote the politicians out of office or demonstrate against their policies. The residents that don’t speak up are just as guilty as the politician.
Even Bernie Sanders made this point during his campaign, but it received little coverage from the MSM.

...which is exactly why judges need to hand down multi-million dollar judgements against the cities for each and every victim who sues, to the point where it will hurt the pocketbooks and quality of life of the residents.

There has never been a statement from the US Conference of Catholic Bishops acknowledging, let alone decrying, the murders and rapes and other crimes committed by illegal aliens. Archbishop Gomez’s homily shortly after the election was all about the fears and anxieties of illegal aliens. You would never guess in a million years that a pro-abortion fanatic had been defeated in the election.
