Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has extended his condolences following the death of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, calling him a legendary revolutionary and orator.
Castros death was announced on state television early Saturday. He was 90 years old.
It is with deep sorrow that I learned today of the death of Cubas longest serving president, Trudeau said in a statement issued later in the day, offering his deepest condolences on behalf of all Canadians.
We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader, he said.

Yeah Toronto is Trudeau central. I will say this he is more avoidable than 0 was with the saturation coverage the American MSM gave the past 8 years. Trudeau is a bit more canny than 0 and I think he realizes overexposure can be a problem. On the plus side the Ontario lesbian premiere is beginning to wear thin among the electorate here. Nothing is guaranteed but she might get the boot in the next election.
Dear Canadian FReepers,
I’m sorry so many of your fellow citizens are so ignorant and socialist/communist. We here understand the deep frustration in that situation. I hope a Canadian awakening happens soon. I hope our American awakening is strong and enduring, and motivates your good, reasoned Canadians toward change.
Castro was a mass murderer and an arch criminal.
ALL COMMUNISTS OUT OF US GOVERNMENT!!!!!!
“Canadians are that stupid?”
Who did they elect to be their PM?
Not all of us, but most.
I’m not ashamed in the least, the Trudeau family and the Liberals in general are known to be soft on communism and our three-party system means that all you need to form a government is 37% of the vote. Imagine what your politics would be like if the Green Party got 20% instead of 1% of the vote. Nuff said.
Does Justin have any sorrow for any of the thousands of people the Castro regime brutalized or killed?
Can a Canadian run for President of Cuba?
Frankly, though, I’d prefer Ted Cruz in that role.
Remarkable leader? I guess to a dumbass like Trudeau, like his father - a Marxist - he’s a remarkable leader. Sorry, Justin, he is a murderous thug...
Wonder what Cuba would be like if he’d signed with the Senators????
Thanks for electing this turd, Canada.
Good riddance. Let me know where I can go piss on his grave. Yea, it’s gonna be a very long line. I’ll wait. Those more worthy of the honor will precede us mere observers.
Did Canada mourn the loss of Hitler.....I thought not.
Pierre Trudeau did.
Why were U.S. flags at half staff today?
Interesting! I will have to look that up.
Of course, they still support Kathleen Wynne, who has driven jobs out of Ontario thanks to the crazy expensive electricity bills.
Retirees and people on fixed incomes are having a hard time.
It’s all because of windmills, solar panels and other long-term green energy contracts.
Canada is not the best place to rely on solar power. LOL!
Who did they elect to be their PM?

I’m not ashamed. The vote was decided before Manitoba was even counted and I’m from Alberta.
What I am ashamed of is that the men of the west won’t stand up and separate.
All leftists, liberals are stupid, it’s a mental disease.
