Jill Stein prepares to request election recounts in battleground states

Jill Stein, the Green party’s presidential candidate, is prepared to request recounts of the election result in several key battleground states, her campaign said on Wednesday.

Stein launched an online fundraising page seeking donations toward a $2m fund she said was needed to request reviews of the results in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Stein said she was acting due to “compelling evidence of voting anomalies” and that data analysis had indicated “significant discrepancies in vote totals”.

Her move came amid calls for recounts or audits of the election results by groups of academics and activists concerned that foreign hackers may have interfered with election systems.

Donald Trump won unexpected and narrow victories against Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and may yet win Michigan, where a result has not yet been declared.

The loose coalition of academics and activists, which is urging Hillary Clinton’s campaign to join its fight, is preparing to deliver a report detailing its concerns to congressional committee chairs and federal authorities, according to two people involved.

It doesn’t matter, The fact ANYONE thinks Trump won because of Fraud shows you how stupid people are...

I have no doubt they found Hillary did better in places with paper ballots, because its EASIER to stuff the ballot box when the ballots are paper....

This supposed study just proved a known thing, Dems cheat, concluding the fraud was on the electronic vote side, is silly... Hillary’s folks were caught ballot stuffing all through the primaries.

If you look for fraud, particularly in PA you are going to find gobs of it, but it wont be for Trump... Anyoen who thinks Trump won PA out of fraud is a clueless idiot.

Not enough votes to change the result.

If it was a few hundred votes, yeah a recount could change the result but not when the difference is thousands of votes.

Just what does Stein hope to accomplish?

I suspect that too .. because there has been so much talk the last couple of days re Hillary challenging the election.

Of course, some say Hillary is not even interested in doing such a thing .. and other are still encouraging her to pursue it.

With the lying media .. who knows.

Its very interesting how the oh-so-smart computer science professors at Michigan decided that, because paper ballots skew to the democrat and electronic ballots skew to the republican, the paper ballots are the ones that are correct.

I have no evidence other than 55 years of watching this crap. But I would guess that paper ballots have more cheating. And democrats cheat, especially in urban areas. So when paper ballots tilt toward the democrats it just proves they cheat.

But the professors have come to a different conclusion without any more evidence. They are just guessing. I guess that is why they are college professors and I am just a successful businessman. But I have one question for them. If paper transactions are more accurate. Then why do all the store chains use electronic cash registers. And which party disallows cameras in the voting place.

Don’t be so sure. Votes will be “found”, others will be lost.

I wouldn’t relax until Trump takes the oath of Office.

Read the article - Nate Silver observed that once you factor in the change in voting patterns in WI, the so-called discrepancy disappears.
