For supporters of Hillary Clinton, the post circulating on Facebook and Reddit offers hope. The Justice Department, it claims, is “tallying calls” from people who want an audit of the 2016 election. And given the small margins that Donald Trump won by in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, a shift of about 55,000 votes is all that would be needed to change the outcome.
The problem is, it’s bogus. The Justice Department doesn’t count up calls to determine whether it should launch an investigation. And they will not initiate a national audit — or force particular states to recount their results — based on the volume of outrage they receive from voters.

Trump won PA by more than 60,000 votes and Wisconsin by 30,000 and Michigan by 13,000.
Their math does not add up.
This was attempted before. Remember Al Gore? The Supreme Court’s decision? If Hillary truly thinks she has a chance to slide on all her offenses, she will not support let alone initiate such an endeavor. She has settled into being who she now is . . . an old (looking) granny.

They’re claiming vote switching. 60+30+13=103. Divide by 2 is around 55,000.
The way it works is if Clinton somehow gains 30001 votes in Pennsylvania wrongly applied that will reduce Trump’s total by 30001 and increase Clinton’s total by 30001 and thereby give her a one vote victory.

Hillary would have to pay the cost of a recount if she lost.
Which is likely to happen which is why a losing candidate typically does not demand a recount in case where its not within the margin of error.
In none of the 3 states was Trump’s lead within a few hundred votes.
Hillary’s lawyers have no doubt told her its a waste of time.
