School choice doesn’t preclude common core.
You can apparently choose any school you like, but they will all teach common core.
She’s a strong proponent for school choice. Unions hate that. I’m not sure in the common corr issue

Bad News—lots to learn on education. Takes lots of reading. School Choice will end up getting claws into homeschoolers (private ed)-who will take the cash. Then comes guess what....

Definitely a political payoff. She’s essentially the Republican Party gatekeeper for the state of Michigan. No one runs as a Republican for statewide political office without her blessing.

Common Core needs to go though. Actually, I would be fine closing national Dept of Education. Annoying federal interference with what should be a local issue.
I'm calling it a very bad pick. She's pro-Common Core. She was appointed by W. to the board of directors of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We need to defund the arts and CC stricken from our schools.
Am thinking maybe that is what is about to happen?
