Trump changes mind on waterboarding, global warming

Donald Trump, after stating that he was going to reinstate waterboarding "and worse" for terrorists, now says he is against waterboarding. He also says global warming, which he once said was a hoax created by the Chinese to make U.S. manufacturing uncompetitive, may be caused by man-made activities.

Donald Trump seemed to acknowledge that humans contribute to climate change Tuesday in a meeting with New York Times reporters, moving closer to widely held scientific opinion but away from the Republican Party line.

He is keeping an "open mind" when it comes to climate issues, he said.

"I think there is some connectivity" between human activity and climate change, Trump said[.]

There is no way any person who is informed about the "theory" of global warming can believe that. The theory of global warming is that human-produced carbon dioxide traps heat in the atmosphere. But human-produced CO2 is only 3% of all CO2 (most is produced naturally), which in turn is only 3% of all the chemicals in the atmosphere. Common sense would tell anyone that human CO2 production has no bearing on so-called global warming.

Hmmm. Conflicting reports. IF DJT has a "trusted" confidant who is a warmunist, might that person be able to convince DJT that glow bull warming is actually a thing? Stay tuned.

Trump hasn’t said anything to suggest he’s changed his mind. Sheesh. Folks can’t see psyops in play at all it seems.

On how many more issues is Trump going to "evolve" ?

Frankly, he's trending the wrong way, bigly. As is "Bigly BSer."

Totally confused how he could backtrack on waterboarding after conversation with one general (supposedly). He said he knew more than some of the generals while running and had Flynn and plenty other generals who endorsed him. Why change after talking to one general?

"He is keeping an open mind"

-The press will translate this to --> Trump has changed his mind on everything he believed and everything he promised.

That's not "changing your mind" on global warming. So the American "Thinkers" really can't (or refuse to) think!

Boy, the disgusting media is SO friggin’ transparent. You can almost see them get the memo-of-the-day: “SEPARATE TRUMP FROM SUPPORTERS BY REPEATEDLY SAYING HE IS ABANDONING HIS POSITIONS.”

Won’t work, scumbags. Not with THIS Trumpster, anyway.

There in fact may some correlation between human activity and changes in the climate.

We are going to need to collect and analyze data for several thousand years before we have even the slightest clue on that.

Humans can affect climate but not the way liberals say.

Deforestation has an affect on climate.

But the issue here is all they "save the planet" rhetoric which forces you to either vote Democrat and live or vote Republican and die.

One of the old big DEM CIA guys said it could be brought back if necessary. I’ll see if I can find it.

Public statements vs. private internal actions when justified. He is quickly learning to follow his own advice about never telling the world exactly what your tactics are. Don’t worry about the public blather in front of the NYT.

Yes, because as we’ve learned, if it comes from the media, it must be true! /sarc

I don’t believe this for one minute until I hear it from DJT himself. The media is trying to create a civil war on the right and trying desperately to prove their narrative that Trump is “unfit”....

I’m not going to be concerned about any of this until he’s actually President and does something. Maybe he’s saying a bunch of different things, maybe it’s media garble ... but none of it matters until there is action.

Apparented North Africa is a deforestation case in point. Salting fields changes things too.

How is DJT trending the wrong way? Name a single policy he has enacted to prove your case.
