Angela Merkel's 'days are numbered', warns France's Marine Le Pen

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's "days are numbered," according to the leader of France's right-wing National Front party, Marine Le Pen.

Merkel confirmed on Sunday she would run for a fourth term in 2017, however, Le Pen says the German leader does not fit the mood of the times. Speaking to CNBC on Monday, the National Front's presidential candidate claims Merkel is isolated given she represents the status quo while the pace of change in Europe is accelerating.

"Angela Merkel is a force of inertia. She's the one who wants nothing to change, and for European countries to continue to submit to the same remedies that are actually killing them. Today Mrs Merkel is very isolated. Those who defend her vision are very isolated with her," she said.

Turning to another international relationship, Le Pen said it would be natural for France to retain relations with Russia given the close history of the two countries.

Arguing she sees no reason why we cannot live in a multi-polar world, she lambasted the U.S. for taking the world into the Cold War, saying it put France and Europe at great risk, given they were caught in the middle.

"The Cold War, which was brought on by the Americans against Russia is a great danger to world peace ... I think that the United States and Russia, as well as a whole series of other countries, France included, can perfectly well maintain peaceful and balanced relations, without creating conflicts - conflicts which are objectively artificial," she said.

A force of inertia. Should have used that against hitlery, although I think they got that point across just fine.

A good friend of mine has family in Germany. His grandfather and uncle both served in the Army and are all about Germany. Rest of the relatives were more liberal. And I emphasize, WERE.

With the invasion that has been taking place, one by one they’ve all been drifting “RIGHT”. Some faster than others, but they’re all headed that way. From what he’s told me, German citizens are afraid to leave their homes and THEY ALL WANT THEIR GUNS BACK. Plus, years of radical left policies has decimated their military on top of the wussification of the men. Anywho...

He’s predicting that she’s gonna get her ass handed to her and Germany will rise once again. Between German, if it happens, France, the Eastern countries that have effectively shut their borders, possibly Italy, Europe is going to be a f*cking mess in the next year or two.

It might not be wise to make such a statement at this time.Le Pen should concentrate on becoming the President of France and let *that* event *quietly* indicate that Merkel might want to start planning her retirement in Monaco.

Ahh, yes- it's always the hated anglo saxonnes who deprived Europe (i.e. France) of her greatness.

What sane German who is watching Angela Merkel's Muslim Invasion is going to "pull the lever" for more of that decay?
Her days are indeed numbered and she is going to be voted out in a huge landslide election. Germany is tired of her nonsense.

There's opportunity here, though.

With Trump we are already in a position to possibly work with Russia against Islamic Terrorism. America, Russia, Britain, France, Germany, and Eastern Europe working as one against islamofascism would spell doom for ISIS.

That it would, IF you could get all those countries to agree, work together and rid the world of them once and for all. Heck, all you’d have to do is take the leash off of Russia. Once they start chopping heads off and carpet bombing, it’ll be over quick.

There are severe limits to Russian cooperation. The only reason Russia cares about ISIS is that Syria (the existing government) will not allow pipelines from the Gulf States to Europe. Russia likes that because they are the exclusive provider of Natural Gas to Europe. That gives them HUGE leverage.

If ISIS controlled Syria, there would likely be pipelines from the Gulf States to Europe.

The reason Obama couldn’t decide whether to support or oppose ISIS is that the gulf states pretty much own the Democrat party and they are also providing aid to ISIS. The Gulf States want ISIS to beat up the existing Syrian government.

So European cooperation against ISIS is not likely. They need those pipelines to break Russia’s NG monopoly.

OTOH, the US would do just fine if Syria stayed in it’s current state because all we have to do is build LNG shipping terminals and we can become a major NG provider to Europe. That would break the Russian monopoly without having to go to war against Syria AND ISIS. Although, if we start supplying NG to Europe, relations with Russia will become VERY frosty.

A further note: Russia has clear objectives in Syria—no Gulf State Pipelines. And that means keeping Assad in power. They don’t give a hoot about Islamic Terrorism as long as Assad stays in power.

Obama’s objectives have been all muddled. He would like to serve his Saudi masters and give them their pipelines. But ISIS is so mean and he can’t stop those beheading videos from going viral. And building LNG terminals in the US (the obvious non-war solution to this situation) is opposed by the billionaire hard greens, who also own Obama. And Obama wants to advance the Islamic Caliphate if only the folks in charge (ISIS) weren’t so bad for PR in the US. So he’s for ISIS, against ISIS, for Syria and against Syria. For Russia having its NG monopoly and against it.

And don’t forget Turkey, who obviously pull a bunch of strings on Obama. They are supporting ISIS too.

The result is: Russia is winning. America doesn’t really know what it wants to accomplish and is coming across as ridiculous, as usual the past eight years.

A German friend explained the situation to me. Merkel isn't voted for (or against) by a popular vote, she's elected by a vote in the Reichstag. Also Germany has multiple political parties, not a de-facto two party system like the United States. As a result, Merkel will attempt to form a ‘coalition’ amongst those other party representatives within the Reichstag by promising them various perks and favors, and may well win reelection, despite the popular man-on-the-street view of her abysmal immigration policies.
