The New York Times’s election night coverage was a wide-ranging affair: live forecasts, an interactive map with real-time updates, an online chat between a handful of political reporters — not to mention more traditional reporting.

But the drama of election night was also conveyed, in retrospect, by the changing headlines that topped The Times’s home page: 13 of them, in all.

If I want to read fiction I lean towards Robert Jordan, WEB Griffin, Louis L’Amour or Fred Forsyth.

I’ll never forget.

1:30 p.m. I voted. Couldn’t bring myself to watch the election, since I assumed it was all a lost cause.

At around 10:00, while I was still at work, my friend messaged me to say Trump was leading. I went to MSN & saw the headlines — “Trump Surging in Polls.”

I hurried home. For the next 3 hours I was glued to the computer. Everyone. We all Facebooked each other.

At 2:30 a.m. my friend wrote, “The fat lady sang.” Meaning, of course, that Hillary conceded.

The next day I was in a daze — like a zombie out of WALKING DEAD.

Watched it in awe. Shocked, really.

I thought the Democrats would get their fraud machine rolling. I’m sure they did.

It wasn’t enough.

Hats for their predictive meters. They told you which way the election was going.

Despite their slanted coverage, the NYT website on election night was outstanding.

We all had somebutterflies as the early results came in showing Hillary leading in the northeast states, but as this leaked very short video shows, the Clinton Family was a little premature in it’s celebration:

But hey, how often do you see Bill Clinton jumping up and down like a little girl? (Probably in anticipation of all the little intern girls he envisioned having access to again).

NYT also displayed the Empire State Building’s TRUMP Victory in lights. I tried to post it here, but couldn’t.

At the beginning of election night, the NY Times had Hillary at a 92% chance of winning. Total confirmation bias and believing their own propaganda. Just think of the horror they felt as they had to keep saying “Trump wins”.

Started the night with a feeling of dread. About 7 cst had my first Maker’s and settled in for a night of misery. By 9 I was developing some hope but dreaded Broward and Miami Dade. By 10 I was starting to have fun. Stayed up till 3 and woke up drunk. Been waking up early every day since just to watch liberal heads explode.
