And I could have added Carter, Eisenhower, Truman, and Roosevelt as well, but I thought I had made my point when I said you would have to go back to the 1920s to find the last president who actually shrank government. I believe the last president to do so was Coolidge.
Who thinks he knows what Trump is thinking.
Trump never said he thought it would be easy, just that he plans to do it.

He's mentioned that before but included so many loopholes like exclusions for employees working in health and safety, and the military, that it's doubtful that once the increases to the military and the Border Patrol are factored that much of a total headcount reduction would be realized.
